jules vivid

Jules is an interdisciplinary artist, musician, and community builder living in Brooklyn. Her work has led to policy change in the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development, publications in Sexualities and the Journal of Positive Sexuality, and the growth of two social impact nonprofits, The Dinner Party and The People's Supper. Having spent 10 years in the research and nonprofit sectors, Jules is now pursuing her PhD in sociology at Rutgers University. In addition to this is Jules' decades-long practices in the arts. She's a co-founder of the experimental art hub, The Vivid Institute and her music, visual art, and/or creative writing have been featured in the Ann Arbor Film Festival, Arts On Site, WOW Cafe Theatre, Goats Milk Magazine, and elsewhere.
