I am a queer Sicilian/Ashkenazi researcher, writer, visual/musical artist, and community builder based in Brooklyn, NY. I have 8+ years of research and nonprofit experience in social justice contexts that span education, health, and community healing. My work has led to policy reform in the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development, original publications in Sexualities and the Journal of Positive Sexuality, and the growth of two social impact nonprofits, The Dinner Party and The People's Supper.
My decades-long, interdisciplinary arts practices inform the creativity and structure that I bring to my work. I received formal training in classical piano, ballet, and floral design, am self-taught in painting and photography, and began writing fiction in grad school. I recently co-founded the experimental hub, The Vivid Institute and my creative work has been featured in the Ann Arbor Film Festival, Arts On Site, Goats Milk Magazine, Lupercalia Press,WOW Cafe Theatre, Princeton Media Lab, and elsewhere.
